Our Client Services Department (Telephone 01928 579796) is open on theMonday and Tuesday after every sale when successful Absentee Bidders will be contacted by email to arrange payment and take instructions regarding shipping. When packing and shipping is required, this is undertaken on the two days after every sale (Monday and Tuesday) and the goods will normally be despatched within 24 hours. All payments MUST be completed no later than close of business on the Wednesday immediately following the auction.

Absentee Bidders

Payment by Absentee Bidders may be made by Electronic Transfer or BACS or Cheque or Debit Card or Credit Card. For all clients, we regret that we are unable to accept card payments for accounts over the telephone. In the case of clients placing absentee bids via a third party internet facility (e.g. the-saleroom.com, easyliveauction.com, or similar) payments are requested from the registered debit or credit card on your live bidding account.

Please pay for your lots promptly as late payment will inevitably result in delayed delivery. Details of non-payers are shared with other auction houses and live internet bidding sites.

Our shipping charges within the UK

With the exception of small packages, all shipping is undertaken by Parcelforce. We do not normally use other courier services unless abroad, although some small packages may be shipped via Royal Mail.

• Packing and Shipping of items under 2 kgm from £15 including insurance for loss (not damage) in transit.
• Packing and Shipping of items between 2 kgm to 10 kgm from £18 including insurance for loss (not damage) in transit.
• Packing and Shipping of items over 10 kgm from £22 including insurance for loss (not damage) in transit.

For Packing and Shipping of very large items (eg furniture, dinner services, quantities of general lots), we are usually able to recommend a specialist door-to-door courier service at reasonable cost. Please ask for the couriers list.

If you prefer to employ your own courier, we provide a packing service with prices starting at £8 (not dinner services or general lots).
